Once the Daleks were complete, a new project loomed on the horizon. I always loved R2 D2 from the Star Wars films, and a full size Artoo was small enough to not take up to much space, but a big enough project to keep me busy.

It proved to be a much more involved build than the Daleks, and whilst it had been planned that the NSD would be radio controlled it had ended up with an electric wheel chair inside instead - the kit I bought is now installed in Artoo who has full radio control movement, lights and beeps & whistles.
