Couple of jobs today, a 'stand' for the wheel chair controller from MDF and installed the fusebox for the Minivox, speakers and cathodes...

10 blue cold cathodes arrived a few weeks ago, and now that the wheelchair motors and wheels are fitted to the Dalek, and the battery box , time to fit and wire them under the base. I've used some hose clips, which hold the ends of the cathodes in place, each with a strip of foam on each end to protect and cushion them from vibrations.

I've also soldered a DIN socket onto the Minivox, and the plug onto the wires to control the flashing lights on the head.

Its all working OK, just need to add a small fuse box which should arrive in the next few days.

Got the 'ear's wired up to an iPod and sound to light module so they flash in sync with sound...

Hooked up the eye, that's about it so far... The LED is wired to a 9v battery and will be contained in the head...
